A fantastic treasure exists in our community—and we invite you to share it in a more up-close-and-personal manner by becoming a member of the Friends of Hamlin Beach State Park.
Hamlin Beach State Park is truly special. Few places in the country can match its combination of beaches, nature trails, gardens, picnic areas, playgrounds, shelters and a campground with more than 250 sites.
Add to that a well-preserved Civilian Conservation Corps/World War II Prisoner of War (CCC/POW) site to fascinate history buffs, and the word “unique” might aptly be applied.
Some 400,000 visitors enjoy these amenities every year. As Friends of Hamlin Beach State Park, we take great pleasure in a more intimate relationship with the park. And we take great pride in playing a key role in maintaining its status as a regional asset.
Learn more from several Friends groups across NYS about the importance of public spaces and the wonderful memories they have made. Watch it here.
